Maybe you notice everything.

The shift in someone’s tone. The text that feels a little different than usual. The possibility that you said too much, didn’t say enough or somehow made things weird.

You might be incredibly tuned in to other people—what they’re feeling, what they need & how they might respond. And while that awareness can be a strength, it can also leave you analyzing everything, questioning yourself & feeling responsible for things that were never entirely yours to manage.

Therapy can be a place to turn some of that attention back toward you. We can understand why you learned to pay such close attention to everyone else, make more room for your own feelings & needs, and practice trusting yourself without analyzing every possible outcome first.

WHAT WE MIGHT WORK ON TOGETHER:

WHAT DOES THERAPY WITH ME LOOK LIKE?

You don’t have to stop overthinking before coming to therapy. Honestly, we’ll probably get pretty curious about the overthinking itself—when it shows up, what it’s trying to prevent & why your brain learned that analyzing everything might help keep you safe.

I’m relational, engaged & collaborative in sessions. We might slow down something that happened during your week, notice what you felt before your brain immediately explained it away, explore patterns in your relationships or practice figuring out what you actually think before checking how everyone else feels.

The goal isn’t to become someone who never worries, doubts themselves or cares what other people think. It’s to build enough trust in yourself that those things don’t always have to make your decisions for you.

When it fits what we’re working on, I can also incorporate EMDR to help us work with experiences, memories or beliefs that continue to feel stuck.

WHEN CAN WE MEET?

I offer virtual therapy appointments for Washington clients in the mornings, with session start times of 7 AM, 8 AM, 9 AM & 10 AM Pacific Time.*

So whether you’re an early bird, want to meet before work or prefer to get therapy in before the rest of your day gets going, you have a few options. :)

*Availability for specific session times may vary.

ONLINE THERAPIST FOR WOMEN IN WASHINGTON

I’m Emilee Crowder, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing virtual therapy to women throughout Washington. I specialize in people-pleasing, anxiety, attachment wounds, relational trauma & religious trauma.

I tend to work especially well with people who think deeply, feel deeply & are very good at noticing what’s happening around them. Sometimes that also means spending a lot of energy analyzing yourself, your relationships & whether you’re doing everything “right.”

My approach is relational, curious & collaborative. I’m not here to hand you the correct way to live your life. We’ll work together to understand your patterns, make room for what you actually feel & need, and help you trust yourself enough to make choices that feel like yours.

THE PRACTICAL STUFF

If you’re looking for online therapy in Washington & you’re ready to spend a little less time analyzing every possibility and a little more time trusting yourself, start by filling out my Therapy Interest Form. I’ll reach out about scheduling a free 15-minute consultation so we can meet & see if we might be a good fit.

WHAT IF YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO SECOND-GUESS YOURSELF SO MUCH?
